Solomon Sonya (@Carpenter1010) is a passionate reverse engineer and software developer focusing on the analysis of malware, steganography, covert channels, botnets, computer network exploitation, and data protection paradigms. Solomon has devoted many hours in academia mentoring students and teaching Computer Science techniques. Regarding network security, Solomon brings experience as a previous director of Computer Intrusion Response and network operations. Solomon provides network protection capabilities as well as security solutions to better prevent, detect, respond to and mitigate network penetrations and malware infections threats from large-scale commercial, private, and government sectors. Solomon received his Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science and Master’s Degrees in Computer Science and Information Systems Engineering. Solomon's current research areas include remote administration tools, command and control protocols, system exploitation, network security distributed systems and protection techniques to better understand threats and develop solutions to secure enterprise networks.
